For all the red blood shed, and Rose Trees grown...
----
"When all the wells are parched away? O plain as plain can be Theres nothing but our own red blood Can make a right Rose Tree." - William Butler Yeats
I love this poem... I was reading it today, and I felt like posting a red rose... I think I have tons of red rose photographs in my archives; this is a cliché that I can never be tired of...
How can I get tired of it when it means so much? The best tints of red - the colour of first artistic creations of humanity in the dimness of the caves, the colour of life and death that is our blood, the colour of love and passion... the mighty red rose passed many millenia; Greeks said it sprang from the blood of Adonis, to Christians it was the Cross, the ultimate sacrifice...
As Middle East started to bleed again, it just feels like red roses are a lot more meaningful these days... ---- William Butler Yeats'in yukarıda "The Rose Tree" isimli şiirinin yukarıda yer alan kısmını okurken içimden buraya bir kırmızı gül koymak geldi...
Lovely, just simply amazing and beautiful. Perfect photography skills.
